Learn2Tri Camp

Three days of skill development, confidence building, and fitness-focused fun!

2019 Camp is Wrap!

Save the Date for Next Year: June 12-14

Learn2Tri Camp is geared toward athletes at the beginner level. The target audience for this camp includes those who have never completed a triathlon of any distance or who have completed less than 3 triathlons. This camp will focus on skill development in swimming (pool and open water), cycling/handcycling, running/pushing, transition, nutrition, equipment maintenance and more. On Sunday, athletes are invited to put their new skills to the test and cross the finish line at the Dare2tri Tri It Triathlon.

Athletes will be given the tools, knowledge, and skills necessary to succeed in any of our activities. All of our coaches are highly qualified and talented in their areas. They work with each participant to develop new skills. Whether it’s learning to swim with confidence, learning to push a racing chair, or getting faster on your bike, we’ve got you covered!

On Sunday, athletes are invited to put their new skills to the test and race in the Dare2tri Tri It Triathlon. All paratriathletes are welcome to participate, whether or not they attended the camp.

Dare2tri also makes lodging arrangements based on double occupancy and provides ground transportation.

training Camp: In their own words

I really appreciated the level of expertise available by the staff for each sport. I felt like I was really learning very valuable basic skills that provided great take aways for me to use as I train.

I was super excited to attempt to learn how to ride a two wheel bike. I really appreciated all the volunteers helping me ride an upright bike. I also loved socializing with others (especially Paraolympians that came to help coach!)

I thoroughly enjoy being around other disabled athletes, as there is no better support group for me. I always leave camp having made new friends and seeing old ones.
