“In 2015, I started practicing with Dare2tri in Fosco Park with the intention of getting active and doing a triathlon. However, Paratriathlon Training Camp grabbed my interest fully and commenced a search for my best performance. I love the sport and the self-challenge it has built in me. I am the fittest I have ever been and have a new family on Dare2tri.”
DAN ST. PIERRE, PT4
This is Dan’s first season on the Development Team. In 2016, Dan finished Ironman Austin 70.3. He plans to complete an Ironman 140.6 race in the future.
JAMES GILLIARD, PT5
This is James’ second season on the Development Team. In 2016, James finished fourth in the men’s visually impaired division at the Chicago Triathlon.
“My start to the sport was the 2015 Dare2tri Paratriathlon Training Camp. While I had been doing some training, the drills there were my formal introduction. Crossing the finish line during Dare2tri's Tri It Triathlon was the beginning of so many great things. Without Dare2tri and my teammates, I probably would have stopped after doing a couple of triathlons. But because of the support and inspiration they provide and the amount of fun I have doing triathlons, I will continue to be in the sport for a very long time.”
